Do I need to rotate my mattress?
All designs in the Octasmart® range are made from premium materials that are both effortlessly durable and breathable, so there's no need to flip or rotate them.
Can the mattress cover be removed and washed in the washing machine?
Yes, we've made the cover removable and machine washable at 40°C.
Will the mattress slide?
All mattress designs in the Octasmart® range are made with a unique non-slip material to prevent disruptive slipping.
What is memory foam?
Memory foam is a revolutionary material which was developed by NASA for the space program to give astronauts additional support during take-off and landing. High density memory foam, like that used in our mattresses, was developed for use in the bedding industry because of its amazing pressure relieving ability. Memory foam reacts with the heat of your body, moulding to your body shape and giving you ultimate support and comfort for a really great night’s sleep.
What will memory foam do for me?
Memory foam provides a very comfortable and supportive sleeping environment, free of allergens and dust mites. You can be confident in the quality and value that our memory foam products provide, and that you’ll get comfortable faster, fall asleep quicker, sleep deeper for longer and wake up feeling fully refreshed.
Will memory foam help with my back pain?
Yes, memory foam moulds to the shape of your body, relieving pressure points and spreading the weight across your whole body. It allows for better spine alignment while you sleep and reduces the number of uncomfortable pressure points you sometimes experience with other mattresses and toppers. Whilst we cannot guarantee or make any specific claims as to the health benefits of Octasmart's memory foam products, we do know that they give a very comfortable and supportive night’s sleep.
Do you manufacturer custom made sizes?
At present, we don't offer custom made sizes. However, we're always evolving and launching new products so please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for the latest updates.
What is the 80 night risk-free trial and why do we require that you sleep on your topper for a minimum of 30 nights?
All our products come with an 80 nights risk-free trial. This means that if you're still unhappy with your purchase after 30 days, you’ve got the following 50 days to return your item for a refund or exchange.
The reason we ask you to sleep on it for at least 30 days is because it generally takes that amount of time for your body to adjust to sleeping on a proper support surface.
Why is keeping cool so important for getting a good night's sleep?
Your body temperature naturally falls in the evening, signalling that it's time for bed. A lower temperature also tells your body to produce melatonin, the sleep hormone. There's no doubt that you sleep better when you're cool and comfortable, not hot and sweaty. The American Sleep Foundation has even recognised temperature as the number one disrupter of sleep.
Can I use an electric blanket on my mattress?
No, we don't recommend using an electric blanket because over time it can have an adverse effect on the materials used inside the mattress.
